COURSE GUIDE

The course that Isao Aoki, the designer, talks about as a culmination. There are only a few all bent grass in the country, making it a world class golf course that combines Augusta's glamour and toughness like the prestigious St Andrews of England.

Front 9

Hole 1

Par 4, Champion 431, Back 398, Regular 365, Front 336
The tee shot wants to keep the fairway across the right bunker.
Technical starting course.

Hole 2

Par 3, Champion 193, Back 172, Regular 151, Front 122
This is a par 3 hole with the green surrounded by ponds. The position of the pin forces a pond conscious tee shot.
Watch out for wind direction.

Hole 3

Par 5, Champion 574, Back 542, Regular 508, Front 423
This is a straight par 5 and needs to be careful of the right cross bunker.
The fairway in front of the green is cut; the club selection of the second shot is important.

Hole 4

Par 4, Champion 419, Back 381, Regular 352, Front 310
It is a hole that hits straight following No.3.
It is important to keep the fairway for sure.

Hole 5

Par 4, Champion 346, Back 315, Regular 280, Front 240
The direction is short but the key is the pond on the left, deep bush on the right, and club selection with tee shot.
The green tilts from the right to left, so you do not want to turn it on in the back.

Hole 6

Par 4, Champion 422, Back 372, Regular 341, Front 296
This is a par 4 course and the pond on the left puts pressure on the tee shot.
It becomes a left dogleg in a row with the No.5 hole, which is the point of the OUT course.

Hole 7

Par 3, Champion 158, Back 132, Regular 110, Front 84
It is a striking par 3 with a flower bed in the shape of Hokkaido in the bunker.
*Flower Bed: From early May to early October

Hole 8

Par 4, Champion 437, Back 407, Regular 373, Front 316
The tee shot wants to go over the right bunker with a fade ball.
The forest looming to the right of the tee ground is under pressure.

Hole 9

Par 5, Champion 567, Back 533, Regular 493, Front 464
Ponds and lip-high bunkers lurking in front of the green bother players who try two-shot on the green.

Back 9

Hole 10

Par 4, Champion 452, Back 429, Regular 398, Front 374
If you can hit over the left bunker, it is able to keep on the best position.
The green is inclined to the back and you want to turn it on in front.

Hole 11

Par 4, Champion 426, Back 403, Regular 367, Front 321
The tee shot might make you feel nervous because of the pond on the right side.

Hole 12

Par 3, Champion 216, Back 196, Regular 169, Front 152
This is a par 3 hole with distance.
Further, there is a green undulation, so you can not get out of your mind until the hole out.

Hole 13

Par 5, Champion 540, Back 528, Regular 501, Front 463
The tee shot needs to be careful to the right OB.
The pond in front of the green is working and the small vertical green on is difficult.

Hole 14

Par 4, Champion 378, Back 351, Regular 338, Front 306
The distance is short, but it is hard to put on the receiving green and it is the second shot.

Hole 15

Par 4, Champion 422, Back 385, Regular 372, Front 319
This hole is a slight dogleg to the left, and if you hit it to the fairway left side with the shortest route, the remaining distance will be shorter.

Hole 16

Par 3, Champion 184, Back 145, Regular 121, Front 110
This is an impressive par 3 with island green surrounded by a pond.

Hole 17

Par 4, Champion 392, Back 358, Regular 328, Front 293
It is important to capture the course that uses a driver for tee shot and hit a second shot with a short iron, or engrave and ensure you keep fairway.

Hole 18

Par 5, Champion 536, Back 506, Regular 473, Front 419
The tee shot can be hit with the driver, so long hitters can also be two-shot on the green.
However, you need to pay attention to the pond in front of the green.
