Niseko Golf Course
Niseko Golf Course was designed by Arnold Palmer. Only a 20-minute drive away from Niseko Village and it provides a good golf experience on the 18-hole course with a total par of 72. Its signature course is a par-3 5th hole with an undulating terrain, and a slight elevation on green makes it even harder. The green is surrounded by bunkers and water that require accuracy on your shots.
COURSE LAYOUT
Front 9
Hole 1 | Par 4, Black 401, Blue 372, White 372, Red 322 This is a hole that you want to hit freely without worrying about OB. The long hitter aims over the left bunker. Be careful because the back of the green is downward to the back. |
---|---|
Hole 2 | Par 3, Black 189, Blue 165, White 142, Red 122 It will be grated out of about 20 metres, so choose a club carefully. You need to be careful because the hook shot is likely to be caught by the left bunker. |
Hole 3 | Par 5, Black 523, Blue 498, White 463, Red 428 The tee shot aims at the fairway centre. The last one is a dogleg to the right, so the green from the right side may become stymied. |
Hole 4 | Par 4, Black 417, Blue 389, White 389, Red 316 *Long-Driving Contest There are bunkers on the right side of the fairway and in front of the green right. Overall, the hole you want to attack from the left side. The green is tilted to the left and right. |
Hole 5 | Par 3, Black 214, Blue 190, White 164, Red 120 *Nearest to the Pin This is a hole that is about 9 metres downhill. Without over-hitting it, you want to choose a club that can clear the right pond and the left bunker. |
Hole 6 | Par 4, Black 359, Blue 322, White 258, Red 235 The par 4 hole is a relatively short-distance. The green is small and the bunker guards tightly, so you definitely want to put the tee shot on the fairway. |
Hole 7 | Par 4, Black 447, Blue 420, White 385, Red 327 This is a par 4 hole with a long distance. If you miss a tee shot, the second shot will alert the creek. There are also two bunkers in the back of the green. |
Hole 8 | Par 4, Black 360, Blue 337, White 302, Red 241 This is a right dogleg per 4 hole. The distance is short, so the tee shot definitely goes to the fairway. Beware of large two-tier green inclination. |
Hole 9 | Par 5, Black 507, Blue 483, White 458, Red 414 This is a right dogleg hole. The green is guarded by five bunkers, so the second shot is sure to go to the fairway. |
Back 9

Hole 12 | Par 4, Black 448, Blue 419, White 389, Red 358 This is a par 4 hole with a relatively long distance. The shot watches out for the trees on the left side. The green wants to avoid the left bunker and utilise a wide flower path to attack. |
Hole 13 | Par 3, Black 239, Blue 206, White 177, Red 128 This is a downhill hole of about 13 metres. You do not care about the pond and concentrate on the green. Watch out for the right bunker and want to hit firmly in a larger club. |
Hole 14 | Par 4, Black 397, Blue 341, White 341, Red 284 This is a right dogleg hole. If you are a long hitter for the tee shot, you will need to pay attention to the front penetrating. The green is guarded by four bunkers. |
Hole 15 | Par 4, Black 390, Blue 376, White 332, Red 288 *Long-Driving Contest This is a nearly straight hole. The tee shot aims at the fairway centre. You want to hit it to the green with a bigger club. |
Hole 16 | Par 5, Black 523, Blue 486, White 443, Red 404 It is a par 5 hole with a short distance. The tee shot should be careful of the left and right bunkers. Do not over-hitting the second shot. The green is tilted to the left. |
Hole 17 | Par 3, Black 193, Blue 177, White 164, Red 153 *Nearest to the Pin About 38 metres downhill from the tee shot. You need to select a suitable club with calculating the wind and downhill. Beware of bunkers and OBs in the back when hitting too much. |
