Also, it is a course that Japan boasts a lot of strategy, such as the rare western grass in the country.

Takachiho Course
There are many straight courses, but the pine forests on both sides require accuracy.
Hole 1 | Par 4, Back 391, Regular 381, Front 372, Ladies 366 The dropping point is more important for tee shot than flying distance. Most professionals use 3W because if you fly too much, the tree in the centre gets in the way. Fairway right side is the target, but the right side pine tree spreads branches, so you should avoid it well. |
---|---|
Hole 2 | Par 4, Back 436, Regular 393, Front 379, Ladies 366 When the tee shot goes to the left, the pine in the centre of the fairway becomes a styummy, so keeping the fairway right side is an absolute condition for tee shot. If you are hitting too much, the left bunker will also be curious. |
Hole 3 | Par 3, Back 180, Regular 165, Front 144, Ladies 124 *Closest to the Pin Since the back is wide, you can see the green closer, but depending on the wind direction, the sense of distance is important because it is different from 2nd to 3rd place. The bunkers on both sides in front of the green are deep, and depending on the position of the pin, you want to decide offence and defend and take a tee shot. |
Hole 4 | Par 5, Back 567, Regular 512, Front 488, Ladies 437 *Long-Driving Contest The longest hole and two-shot on the green is hard. The green is tilted, but if you put it in the left bunker, the pine tree gets in the way and the shot accuracy is required. |
Hole 5 | Par 4, Back 403, Regular 384, Front 365, Ladies 348 The green has a ridge in the centre, and subtle touch is required. It will be a difficult approach from the front guard bunker, so please be careful not to get in. |
Hole 6 | Par 3, Back 202, Regular 184, Front 172, Ladies 110 Tee shots are influenced by crosswinds, so their calculations are key. There is a very large ridge in the centre of the green, precisely divided into four sides, so the chance is tough unless you put it on the same side as the pin, and it is a particularly difficult par 3 hole. |
Hole 7 | Par 5, Back 521, Regular 484, Front 471, Ladies 392 If you put the tee shot in the bunker, you will have a hard time because the bunker is deep. If you carry it to the left side of the fairway bunker on the right, you can aim for the two-shot on the green, but the green has only about 15 yards in depth, so many players use clubs that are easy to stop the ball on the green. |
Hole 8 | Par 4, Back 386, Regular 373, Front 344, Ladies 331 It is better to hit straight toward the right side of the pine tree. If the pin is in the back or at the edge of the green, you need to be careful not to spin too much because it is inclined. |
Hole 9 | Par 4, Back 437, Regular 399, Front 382, Ladies 326 The fairway is tilted to the right, and the hole you want to attack with a straight hall in the centre or left side. The green has a strong slope to the right, so if you put it in the bunker in front of the left, the bunker shot becomes difficult. |
Sumiyoshi Course
A course that has produced numerous dramas in the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament.
Hole 1 | Par 5, Back 483, Regular 468, Front 459, Ladies 443 The tee shot is aimed at the right side of the fairway that avoids the two pine trees on the left. It is a shortest par 5, and remaining 180 to 220 yards after the first shot, so it is best to hit a small distance in front of the left bunker, which is easy to aim for the third shot. |
---|---|
Hole 2 | Par 3, Back 165, Regular 145, Front 126, Ladies 121 *Closest to the Pin Two pond crossing courses. The green is wide but tilted, and depending on the pin position and wide conditions, it is difficult to choose a club. It is a beautiful hole with seasonal flowers planted in the pond in front of you. |
Hole 3 | Par 4, Back 456, Regular 410, Front 370, Ladies 328 Because it is the closest middle hole to the sea, the wind against you often blows from the sea side. The point is the OB zone on the right, the bunker guarding the green, the point is from the right side where you can approach (third shot) without overdoing it because the dotted pine trees become an unexpected hazard. |
Hole 4 | Par 4, Back 325, Regular 309, Front 294, Ladies 281 Long hitter professional golfers challenge one-shot on the green is aimed (approximately 300 yards). If you want to attack for sure, the remaining 100 yards will be the drop of the tee shot, but the green is tilted to the back, so you need a stop shot. |
Hole 5 | Par 4, Back 428, Regular 384, Front 369, Ladies 351 Fade shot is recommended because the fairway is tilted to the left and the right side is OB. The second point is easy to hook up because of the uphill path. The green is tilted to the left and the bunker is deep, so the right eye aim is the point. |
Hole 6 | Par 4, Back 453, Regular 399, Front 372, Ladies 312 *Long-Driving Contest The fairway is tilted to the right, so it is aimed to hit a draw shot crossing over the centre pine tee. The second shot point is a difficult shot with a downhill path and right uphill path. The second shot is aimed at the left side of the green. |
Hole 7 | Par 4, Back 399, Regular 383, Front 347, Ladies 326 The left side of the two cross bunkers on the right is the drop tee shot. Second shot should be careful with the right guard bunker depending on the wind direction. |
Hole 8 | Par 3, Back 188, Regular 161, Front 144, Ladies 127 Depending on the pin position of the wind, the use club changes around 2nd and 3rd place. The pond in front of the green and the back of the green is tightly tilted to the right, so you want to hit the distance and direction exactly. |
Hole 9 | Par 5, Back 536, Regular 514, Front 498, Ladies 479 The pine tree on the left and the right make the fairway narrow, but the front side of the fairway is the aim. Long hitter is a hole that can aim for distance two-shot on the green, but the flower road is narrow at 8 yards, and the back of the green is aimed from the right side with a tight left slope. |
Nichinan Course
The course that requires accuracy and strategy, and club selection and wind reading determine the score.
Hole 1 | Par 4, Back 403, Regular 383, Front 368, Ladies 354 Tee shot is aimed at the right side of the fairway because the fairway is tilted to the left. The green is tilted throughout and is easy to stop, but be careful not to aim too much when the pin is in the back. |
---|---|
Hole 2 | Par 5, Back 501, Regular 486, Front 449, Ladies 431 The tee shot safely hits a lay-up shot in front of the right side bunker, or boldly aim over the left pine tree. Please be careful because the right side penetrates into the forest if you do not stop within 250 yards. |
Hole 3 | Par 3, Back 184, Regular 167, Front 150, Ladies 139 *Closest to the Pin The tee shot is pinned high because the distance is easy to look short and has a deep bunker in front of the green. You want to attack boldly without being afraid of over the count over the bunker because the whole green is tilted. |
Hole 4 | Par 4, Back 372, Regular 361, Front 337, Ladies 317 *Long-Driving Contest Accuracy is required due to the straight middle hole where the left and right cross bunkers are concerned. The second shot will be uphill and you will need the biggest club, but please be careful because it tilts toward the left side of the green, making it difficult for the ball to stop. |
Hole 5 | Par 4, Back 428, Regular 384, Front 369, Ladies 351 Tee shot aims at the fairway left side because of the right-clined middle hole with the right dogleg. The guard bunker in front of the green right is deep, so you definitely want to avoid it. The green is easy to return the ball with a tight slope in front. |
Hole 6 | Par 4, Back 382, Regular 371, Front 340, Ladies 315 This is a slight downhill middle hole with a right dogleg, the tee shot goes over the right one pine tree or slightly to the left. The green is overall left inclination, and the green left guard bunker and over need attention. |
Hole 7 | Par 3, Back 188, Regular 178, Front 165, Ladies 157 The pond in front of you and the left and right bunkers are concerned, but the green is also large and tilted, so you want to boldly attack the green centre with a large number that goes over the right bunker. |
Hole 8 | Par 4, Back 398, Regular 385, Front 338, Ladies 303 Tee shot is on the right side of the fairway because the cross bunker on the left side is worried. The green is tilted, but since it is a two-tier green, it requires a solid sense of distance on the pinside. |
Hole 9 | Par 5, Back 509, Regular 473, Front 446, Ladies 361 The aim of the tee shot is the right side of the fairway left pine forest. The second shot has a bunker at 100 yards in front of the green, and the flower road is also very narrow, so it is a point to engrave it without over-hitting it. |

Hole 3 | Par 4, C.T 410, R.T 380, S.T 335, L,T 315, E.T 280 The tee shot puts pressure on the pine trees coming out from the left and right. The green has a tight undulation and line reading holds the key. |
Hole 4 | Par 4, C.T 323, R.T 310, S.T 298, L,T 276, E.T 192 It is a middle hole with a short distance. For tee shot, we recommended a confident club without over-hitting it. Avoiding the guard bunker in front of the green and aim for a solid two-shot on the green. |

Hole 12 | Par 4, C.T 408, R.T 382, S.T 327, L,T 311, E.T 311 The aim of the tee shot is just the fairway centre. It gets harder when you go over the green, so attack from the front tightly. |
